The August “Meet & Eat” was absolutely wonderful! So many good hat tips and good stories. Those of you who embraced all the good food, good hat facts and beautiful ambience of The Watson Inn had a great time.

This newsletter will be short and sweet as I would like to get it in the mail in time before going to the beach.
It is sad saying goodbye to Audrey Murdock who will be going back to Vermont or somewhere in that vicinity. She will be sorely missed. Audrey is our lovely lady from England who was the rector at the Episcopal Church in Jersey Shore. She is so very special and has touched all who have had the pleasure of getting to know her. We hope she will keep in touch and will come to see us anytime she is in the area. Keep wearing your hats Audrey! And when you do think of your Hat Lady friends in Lycoming County. We will miss you terribly!
Hats off to our new member, Jeane Weigel. Make sure you introduce yourself to Jeane and make her feel welcome.

I hope all of you have had a wonderful summer as I have. I have donned my straw hats and gotten many compliments.
When we were leaving The Watson Inn, you should have heard the horns honking and seen the people waving at us. We were a grand sight!
See all of you in September on the Hiawatha!
Hats, hearts & hugs.,
