My Fair Hat Ladies, I heard from many of you that a good time was had by one & all at the February Meet & Eat.  Many thanks to my daughter, Cindy Craddock for taking over for me.  Can you believe it is time for us to put on our Easter hats?  And that Spring is here and it is time to put away those felt hats and bring out all of our wonderful spring hats.  They are definitely my favorite!
April 9th Meet & Eat:  1200 noon @ Orlando's Resturante in Muncy..  Cost is $12.00 (which includes tax & tip).  The luncheon menu includes a variety of soups & sandwiches & dessert.  Please note if you have special dietary needs, please let me know
Reservations:  must be made by Wednesday,  April 6th.
Please remember that you may make reservations by email or telephone, but cancellations should be done by telephoning Cindy Craddock @ 570-323-9777.  If I do not respond within 24 hrs of your sending email, please resubmit.  Thank you.  Reminder, if you make a reservation and we have to pay, the bill will be yours!
Directions:  From Williamsport, get off at the first Muncy Exit, take a right which will put you on Water St.  Proceed through the stop light (Main St) and take an immediate left behind the building that sits on the corner of Main and Water.  You can enter through the back door.
Gently Used Hat Auction:  Bring your gently used hats to be auctioned off at the Luncheon.  It is a win-win situation.  You can get rid of those hats that you don't wear and the Cancer Society benefits.  All proceeds from the auction will go to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life in honor of Hat Lady Suzanne Lalli.
Reminder:  Please bring correct change in an envelope with your name on it.  NO CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED nor can I make CHANGE.
GETTNG TO KNOW NEW PEOPLE:  At this meeting, we are going to try something new.  Your name tag will be put at your seat.  Please do not move them.  This is an effort for us to get to know each other better.  I know you all like to sit with your friends, but did it ever occur to you, that you will meet new people who will become your new friends.  Let's try it and see how we like it!  It also makes new ladies who might come alone, feel more welcome!  Plus, some of you, I never get a chance to talk to as you are always sitting at the same table with your friends.
Prayers go out to Suzanne Taggart- Lalli, Marie Prato, Mary Kaye Tibolla, Louise Ulmer & Mary Ann Munro.
UNDER THE HAT:  The articles in SOUTHERN LIVING & The Charleston Magazine were wonderful as were the cute pictures of Archie Burkel, the founder of the National Organization.
REMINDER:  ALL DUES WILL BE DUE AT THE MAY MEETING. We are going on  a new schedule with everyone paying annual dues at the same time in order to simplify it.  Regardless of the month that you joined, your dues for the next year will be due in May.  Dues are $20 if you have email and $25 if you do not.   You must also submit 12 self stick, self addressed, stamped business envelopes to me.  Please make sure that we have your correct address, phone number & email address.  If you pay at the luncheon, please put your dues in a sealed envelope with your name and amount that you paid.  I can not accept dues any other way, as it presents mass confusion and mistakes.  If you are a member, your reservation will not be taken until you have paid your dues for the year.  Thank you for your cooperation.
